Knighton House has strong links with Agape, a children’s home in South East India. Our Agape project aims to further pupils’ understanding of another culture, to empathise and fundraise for children on the other side of the world, living in very different circumstances to our own. Regular cake sales and fairs at Knighton help raise money for Agape and other charitable causes.

Knighton is also part of the EU Comenius exchange programme. Over the last few years girls have visited Sicily, Poland and Germany. Trips are planned to Romania and Bulgaria and Turkey. We also welcome teachers and children from other countries to Knighton. Such exchanges are fun — but they also broaden and deepen our view of the world. After a Comenius visit, the children involved make a presentation about their trip to the whole school.
